Ice hockey left winger who played professionally from 1949 to 1963. He later worked as a coach from 1969 to 1973. He played for the Chicago Blackhawks, the Detroit Red Wings, and the Boston Bruins. Over the course of his career, he recorded 183 goals. His coaching career included the Pittsburgh Hornets and the Philadelphia Flyers.

He was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. He died in a nursing home at the age of 93.
