Former LPGA golfer that competed professionally on tour for just over 46 years before retiring in 1996. She is best known for being a co-creator of the Wonen's LGPA tour. In 1949, she was named the AP Female Athlete of the Year.
Family
She grew up living with her family in Eureka, South Dakota. She lived along with her husband, Ernie Vossler, until his death in 2013.
