Co-founder and lead vocalist of the rock band Spin Doctors, who are notable for their 1990s hits "Two Princes" and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong." In 2009, he put out a solo album called Pancho and the Kid, and a year later he released an EP called Songs from the Summer of Sangria.

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, he is the son of Vietnam veteran and automotive authority Ken Gross and relationship self-help author Toby Green. He was married to actress Laura Benanti from 2005 to 2006. He then married actress Lindsey Nicole Chambers, the lead in the Broadway tour of Kinky Boots.
