Madonna was born in the suburbs of Chicago. Her  mother died in 1966 when Madonna was 7 years old.

1978 Madonna traveled to New York and began singing with Patrick Hernandez, the king of disco music.

1983 Madonna released her first album and became a pop idol

1985 She starred in the film Desperately looking for Susana and she got married to Sean Penn

1989 Madonna and Sean Penn got divorced

2001 Madonna declared in the BBC that her new husband Guy Ritchie did not like her to use small clothing.

2002 Madonna recorded the original sound track main song of the film Another Day to Die, the twentieth film of James Bond. She also acted in a small role in the film.

2005 Madonna received the Blue Peter badge award by the BBC children's TV show.
