George attended Modesto Junior College and the University of Southern California film school.

1965 George Lucas debuted with the direction of the movie " Look at Life "

1966 He made his first short films, such as THX-1138: 4EB (Electronic Labyinth) which won first prize at the 1967-68 National Student Film Festival.

1967 Lucas got a scholarship from Warner Brothers to observe the making of Finian's Rainbow which was being directed by Francis Ford Coppola.

1969 George Lucas and Francis Ford Coppola  formed their company American Zoetrope.

1970 George Lucas intented the THX sound and produced "Star Wars”.

1992 George Lucas received the Irving G. Thalberg Award by the Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

2002 His film Star Wars: Episode II - The Attack of the Clones is on top of the Billborard.

2003 George Lucas brought the Star Wars saga to its conclusion with Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

2005 George Lucas' "Star Wars Trilogy" DVD set, is one of the 10 best sellers DVDs of 2004.

2006 George Lucas accepts the award for favourite movie with Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith at the 32nd annual People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
