Dan Yeager Biography

Dan Yeager
Actor

Dan Yeager spent his early years as a star athlete in Columbia Station, Ohio. The son of a drywall man and a resourceful mother who made ends meet through a variety of odd jobs, he was one of five children. In his teen years, the family moved to Las Vegas. It was there where Dan found the opportunity to pursue his lifelong acting ambitions. He participated in several community theater productions, before moving on to regional commercials, and finally, feature films. While getting his feet wet in the acting profession, Dan met and befriended actor Robert Quarry, revered by horror fans for his multiple portrayals of “Count Yorga” the vampire. Quarry was impressed with Dan’s 6’6” athletic stature and the menacing look in the young man’s eyes. He told Dan, “Go to Hollywood. You’ll make a great living playing monsters!” Dan took the legend’s advice and later moved to Los Angeles.

While working as a full-time architectural designer, Dan attended AFI. He has trained with noted acting coaches Jeff Celentano, and Joel Asher, who have contributed to his command of multiple acting techniques. His latest assignments include a feature role on stage with the Mayflower Players.  He also fulfilled the dual roles of actor and Associate Producer in a short film, Ordinary Average Guys and appeared in the feature Metal Heads.

When away from the cameras, Dan is an avid sportsman with superior athletic ability. He has played league football, basketball and baseball.  In his free time, he maintains an active regimen of hiking, sport shooting and sailing.
